AMPLock Origins...
Winter 2001,
André, founder of AMP DRUMMOND Inc,
was going to retrieve his RV for vacation trip when he found a empty parking lot and pieces of the lock supposed to protect it.
What a surprise when camera records revealed how easy it was to break a trailer lock introduced as "high-security". An even greater surprise when he realized that there was no really stronger alternative on the market at this time. In the following months, Alexander, his son, created the first version of a custom-fit lock built from high-density materials with unique design that still inspires some of the best rated locks on the market.
